World Hepatitis Day has a new date. Beginning in 2011, World Hepatitis Day will be celebrated on July 28th. The day was moved to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Baruch Blumberg, who received the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the hepatitis B virus.
